It has been a similar year in the sense that nothing calming has come over me to control my emotions, and my swing under situations that could be  a little stressful. I was only ever close to the lead after Stanhope and Belvedere, then quickly made several bogeys to start my 2nd round. Currently (just Match-Play left) I'm ranked 12th overall on the island. All things considered, it's ok, yes, it's ok. I didn't get picked to play in the Maritime Cup which made sense. Even though I was 12th, I didn't exactly make any memorable performances to warrant the captains to pick me to go on the team. I admit it has already fueled a fire for next year ... and we will see if my results can improve. Yet, I will have to make big changes in my mental game and perhaps physical game throughout the winter and early months next year in order to change this pattern of finishing in the middle of the pack. I guess though, the most frustrating thing, is that I still had no trust of my swing .. even on rounds that ended up good .. I still had no trust of my swing out on the course. I putt well pretty much all year .. happy about that. And with my new driver I've been driving the ball phenomenally off the tee. It's now to tighten up my iron play ... it really is my iron play (including chipping and pitching) where I lose ALL my shots. Anyhow, even though sometimes I feel like quitting the game of golf, within a few hours after the round, I want to play again ... amazing game : )
